The final myth is that cloud computing will make all performance and scaling issues go away. I heard so many entrepreneurs telling they don’t have to worry about performance and scale because they are running out of AWS. I’m pretty sure they will be pretty surprised when (if) they reach just a dozen simultaneous requests per minute and realize their system is taking 20 seconds to return a page.
