Pantera Capital (www.panteracapital.com) is one of the oldest and largest institutional investors in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Pantera Capital is hiring an Operations Associate for our San Francisco office to focus on early-stage investment opportunities in venture capital and ICOs. As an Operations Associate, you will learn about both the venture capital and hedge fund industries, meet inspiring entrepreneurs and get exposure to cutting-edge technologies and products. The right candidate would be able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

    • Managing and tracking new investment opportunities
    • Supporting our portfolio companies by connecting them to the right resources when they have questions or needs
    • Managing and proactively activating relationships
    • Communicating within the Pantera community
    • Initiating and leading special projects (building internal products and programs, research deep dives, etc.)
    • Managing partner projects and events
    • Conducting research and preparing analysis for presentation to the Investment Committee
    • Evaluating the growth and return potential of our portfolio companies from a financial perspective
    • Thinking creatively about new ways Pantera can be supportive and helpful to its portfolio companies

Who we’re looking for

    • You don’t necessarily need deep knowledge of the venture capital industry, but you should be excited about the field and eager to learn the business quickly

    • You excel in both written and verbal communication
    • You know the right questions to ask, as well as when to listen and learn
    • You have the polish and presence to regularly interact with seasoned CEOs, founders and entrepreneurs
