Pantera Capital is hiring an Operations Associate for our San Francisco office to focus on early-stage investment opportunities in venture capital and ICOs. As an Operations Associate, you will learn about both the venture capital and hedge fund industries, meet inspiring entrepreneurs and get exposure to cutting-edge technologies and products.
Responsibilities
- Supporting our portfolio companies by connecting them to the right resources when they have questions or needs and assisting them when they have any marketing, PR, or content-related requirements
- Managing and proactively activating relationships
- Communicating within the Pantera community
- Initiating and leading special projects (building internal products and programs, research deep dives, etc.)
- Managing partner projects and events
- Conducting research and preparing analysis for presentation to the Investment Committee
- Evaluating the growth and return potential of our portfolio companies from a financial perspective
- Thinking creatively about new ways Pantera can be supportive and helpful to its portfolio companies
What We’re Looking For
- You come from either a PR or marketing background; a combination of both agency and in-house experience is preferred
- You’re fascinated by technology and how today’s entrepreneurs are shaping the future
- You have experience with project management
- You’re laser focused on execution with the drive to get things done
- You’re deeply organized and reliable above all else
- You’re a great teammate with a low ego who is self motivating and takes initiative
- You excel in both written and verbal communication
- You know the right questions to ask, as well as when to listen and learn
- You have the polish and presence to regularly interact with seasoned CEOs, founders and entrepreneurs
