We are seeking an Investment Research Analyst to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing the investment research process at TRUE. The Investment Analyst will actively research investment opportunities across all asset classes and will be responsible for tracking both potential and existing investments, and reporting on existing and potential investments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze investment opportunities across asset classes:
- Venture capital (both directly into companies as well as fund investments
- Private debt funds
- Private Equity funds
- Hedge Funds
- Stock and bond separate account managers
- Track investments and investment opportunities
- Prepare executive summaries and financial reports
- Prepare presentations for clients, advisors and executive management
- Administrative and operational duties like filling out subscription docs, preparing quarterly reports, client reporting and communications,
- Oversee capital calls and investment commitments
Required:
- 2-3 years’ experience as an investment analyst, preferably at a private equity fund
- Bachelor’s Degree is required – preferably in finance/business
- Strong interest in investments
- Proven experience with financial statement analysis
- Financial modelling expertise
- Knowledge of venture capital, private equity, and startups
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle situations with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to prioritize, and work quickly to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with ease and efficiency
- Organized, self-motivated, hardworking and resourceful problem-solver
