VC Analyst @ Maven Ventures in San Francisco, CA

Maven Ventures invests in software startups that millions of consumers use every day to improve their lives. We make $750K-$1M Seed investments in founders with a “vision worth fighting for” and the potential to build billion-dollar businesses. Our team identifies future consumer trends — we’ve already seen our investment predictions come to life in areas like self-driving cars, the proliferation of mobile, video communication, the future of retail, and digital health. Notable investments include: Zoom (IPO “ZM”), Cruise (acquired by GM), and Chariot (acquired by Ford).

We are seeking a versatile, driven, and detail-oriented Analyst/Associate to join us for our 2+ year program. Our Analyst/Associate program is an opportunity to apprentice with Maven partners and get first-hand experience in the full scope of running a high-performing, growing Seed stage venture firm. Graduates of our program have gone on to operating roles in our portfolio companies, as well as exciting roles in partner venture capital firms.

This hire will be part of the small, high-performing investment team, participating in Monday partner meetings and conducting due diligence on potential investments. In addition to the investment-focused work, the role will play a key role in the success of the broader firm across areas like platform, marketing, and operations.

-Comfort with picking up and learning new tools quickly
-Demonstrated success in thriving in a fast-paced and unstructured working environment
