Equal Ventures is looking to bring on a Venture MBA Fellow to focus on research and business development in support of our thesis-driven approach. Previous research deep-dives have been in spaces like insurance, retail and transportation & logistics and the role will provide an immersive experience to our investment process.
This role will require the individual to research (both quantitatively and qualitatively) one of Equal’s desired industry themes and support relationship / business development with industry experts across that theme. Our process is anchored in identifying proprietary data points which is rooted in expert interviews (public company CEOs industry analysts, startup operators/influences) and our own self-built analytical frameworks
Ideal Candidate:
•Intellectually curious-Previous experience working in consulting, equity research or private equity with ability to analyze industry trends and company performance beyond the financial statement(experience analyzing value chains and/or industry cost structures is highly preferred)
•Professional–Can Identify, engage and develop relationships with industry leaders in accordance with the Equal Ventures brand
•Self-directed–Works with team members to move the ball forward without someone looking over your shoulder
•Hungry–Treats this like an opportunity, not an internship
