Who you are
An entrepreneur at heart with a strong ability to communicate clearly, think independently, and structure your time effectively. 1–4 years of experience in an analytical role — investing, management consulting, investment banking — is a must and familiarity with technology / enterprise software is a plus.
What you’ll do
Radian Associates contribute to all aspects of the investment process — sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio support. Working on a lean team, Associates enjoy significant autonomy in identifying attractive investment themes and companies, building relationships with CEOs, structuring and negotiating investments, and working closely with management teams on strategic initiatives post-investment. Associates should have a demonstrated interest in investing and technology and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Sourcing new investments — whether it’s attending an industry conference, grabbing lunch with a subject matter expert or building sub-sector theses to identify new opportunities, Radian Associates define what it means to ‘always be sourcing’ and are given autonomy to prioritize activities to identify and build ties into interesting, high growth software companies
- Honing your deal filter through diligence — Associates will apply Radian’s criteria to new opportunities and build the team’s conviction around prospective investments. This includes extensive company and industry research, customer conversations, thoughtful financial models and scenario analyses, and leading investment committee presentations to communicate the attractiveness of particular opportunities
- Supporting portfolio companies — Associates get to assist Radian Investment and Operating Partners in providing hands-on support to our companies for specific projects, allowing them to build deep, trusting relationships across portfolio company teams.
