We are growing and looking to bring on 1-2 associates who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. This presents a rare opportunity to help deploy capital through a new fund we just raised that focuses on AI, Machine Learning, Autonomous Driving, Drones and Robotics companies. Associates will also help support growth / late stage portfolio companies of prior funds. As associates you will get tremendous exposure in all aspects of the deal process including investment thesis development, primary diligence, and portfolio company support. The position will be based in New York.

Who we’re looking for
- Minimum of 3 years of experience at an investment bank, consulting firm, technology company, or VC/PE preferred
- Graduated from a top college / university
- Deep intellectual curiosity and very strong work ethic
- Demonstrated passion for disruptive technology and entrepreneurship
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; can navigate financial models and large data sets to distill the key points and tell a story
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills
- Personal integrity, and the ability to work independently in an unstructured environment while being an effective part of a team
What you’ll do
- Generating proprietary investment deal flow through thematic sector coverage and networking with entrepreneurs, investors and industry practitioners
- Leading market and financial due diligence and preparing internal investment presentations
- Identify creative and structured methods to uncovering insights that will drive investment return
- Oversee portfolio tracking and periodic reporting to general partners, limited partners, and external parties
- Participate in board meetings and assist in strategy formation and execution of portfolio companies
- Identify emerging trends and potential thematic areas for investments
- Create compelling, detailed investment recommendation decks for presentation to GPs and LPs
