Associate will work on companies in a wide range of industries on potential investments, analysis of potential exit opportunities, and the monitoring of current portfolio companies. Vice President is involved in transaction due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Source and screen private equity and venture capital funds and co-investments
- Develop and maintain relationships with private equity fund general partners and intermediaries
- Identify, analyze and evaluate investment opportunities
- Conduct the due diligence, prepare investment memos, and present thoughtful and rigorous analysis to the investment committee and firm’s partners
- Monitor and work with portfolio companies
- Assist with business development/transaction origination
- Support reporting and investor relations efforts
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. M.B.A. or an advanced degree preferred
- At least 1-2 years of investment banking and/or private equity experience
- Private equity transaction modeling experience highly desirable
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize, keen attention to detail
- Takes initiative and has a strong work ethic
- Collaborative team player
- Strong managerial and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in mandarin is preferred
