We are a young venture capital firm based out of LA and invest in some of the best companies in Silicon Valley, New York, and Israel. Our primary focus is financial technology and software in industries from payments, government, manufacturing logistics, real estate, and analytics platforms.
We’re looking for an Associate to join a small but hard working team. The Associate will get to work on projects including new investment opportunities, fundraising, market research, investor and contact management, and meeting with our teams and executives from existing portfolio companies.
Requirements:
-2-3 years experience at a Private Equity, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or a similar fund
-Actual due diligence/modeling/underwriting experience in assessing companies and investments
-Ability to produce financial performance and metrics reports
-Own transportation to Beverly Hills office
-Full Time
-Some monthly travel
Job Responsibilities:
-Producing extensive financial modeling and analysis reports
-Conducting due diligence on potential investments
-Syncing and maintaining investment documents on cloud software
-Forward-looking market and investment research
-Writing and publishing frequent white papers and industry thought pieces with the team
-Maintaining investor relations when needed
-Possible opportunity to work on marketing and web presence if interest and skills are there
Required Skills:
-An excitement for research and innate ability to find inconsistencies and patterns
-Writing Level for Scholarly Journals
-Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Google docs
Plus: Adobe Creative Suite, ERP software, Basic HTML/CSS or programming, Data Management software, Published Writing, Paralegal experience
