PostFinance has set itself the goal of becoming the “Digital Powerhouse” in the next few years. Corporate Venturing is one of the initiatives to support PostFinance in this way. As a member of the three-person Corporate Venture Capital team, you are responsible for building a high-quality deal flow, performing typical venture capital transactions, and managing the portfolio companies. In addition, you take care of the further development of the associated processes.
- With your initiative and your understanding of innovative and relevant topics, you contribute to the development of PostFinance into a “Digital Powerhouse”
- You identify investment opportunities and conduct transactions independently – from deal initiation to execution
- You are responsible for equity investments and drive growth for all parties
- Corporate Venture Capital positions, networks and represents you within PostFinance, as well as among start-ups and investors, and contributes to the positive perception of PostFinance as a startup investor
- In an active dialogue with internal experts, you promote innovation
- You develop the internal processes and specifications further
You bring that with you:
- With investment transactions and the idiosyncrasies of venture capital, you are well-versed on the investor or entrepreneur side because of your solid practice experience
- You recognize the potential of trends and new technologies in the finance sector and develop promising business models for PostFinance
- Ideally, you are networked in the Swiss startup and investor community and have taken an active role in a board or startup
- It’s easy for you to serve the needs of both a systemically important bank and a startup
- Your work style is characterized by collegiality, a high degree of initiative and responsibility
- Distinctive analytical skills as well as fluent German and English proficiency in spoken and written characterize you
