About the Position
As a Speedinvest Junior Analyst you will gain first-hand insights into the startup and venture capital ecosystem and acquire knowledge in strategy and execution. You will be an integral part of our investment team, supporting Partners and Associates in all aspects of their work and thus learn the basics of the daily venture capital business. You will have an active role in analyzing and tracking companies relevant to our investment thesis. Furthermore, you shall provide support to the Investment Manager by monitoring the existing portfolio companies and providing operational support to them, working on their ideas and supporting them with your “can-do” attitude.
Requirements
This is you
- You hold a economic degree, for example in business administration, marketing or a related field.
- You have a broad interest in the latest developments in the fields on consumer, networking and marketplace technologies or platforms.
- First relevant work experience, preferably a product or customer facing role, at a technology or consulting company. Startup or VC experience is very welcome.
What we offer
A full-time position for a minimum of 6 months (up to 12 months) in an international and open-minded team in Vienna or Berlin with a salary of EUR 1.590 gross/month.

Investment Proposal
Please choose a marketplaces startup in the seed phase in which Speedinvest is not yet invested and send us a .doc or .ppt summarizing your analysis on the company. Imagine that this could be a paper on which the partners of Speedinvest would base their decision on whether to invest or not. Also let us know in 2-3 sentences why you would invest in the company.
Length: quality before quantity (max. 2 pages .doc, 4 pages .ppt).
