The role
Manifold Associates engage across our three divisions (venture, studio, advisory) to participate in a variety of projects focused on research, analysis, synthesis, and action. The work tends to vary significantly from project to project, and may involve taking on very hands-on duties such as marketing, sales, project management, and customer development. Other projects may be entirely about analysis and synthesis. Associates are typically assigned to more than one project at a time.
Manifold believes that Associates are more capable of anything when they’re capable of everything. Combining experience as a venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and advisor empowers our Associates to perform at a significantly higher level. It also makes Manifold more powerful and adaptable as an organization.
The role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, narrative writing skills, verbal communication skills, and business acumen. Applicants should be comfortable with ambiguity, very high levels of complexity, and requirements for rapid adaptation. Frequent feedback and support will be available. However, this role will involve significant autonomy; applicants will be expected to be resourceful and self-reliant in determining the best path to completing projects.

Manifold Group is based in Chicago with offices in Dallas, Los Angeles, and soon Atlantic Canada. We employ a hybrid in-office / remote working style, although we’re fully remote at least until Q2 2021.
