CA Ventures launched its newest vertical, Medical Office & Life Sciences, in 2020, and is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join its established and growing team. We will acquire and develop a portfolio of premier healthcare real estate properties across the US. This highly visible, fast-paced, transaction-based role provides a unique opportunity for an Analyst/Associate to join this line of business at its earliest stages. This team member will work closely with the division’s senior executives, have significant exposure to real estate industry professionals both inside and outside the firm, and be integral to the growth and success of the Medical Office & Life Sciences sector platform.
Your Mission
- Preparing underwriting pro forma analyses for acquisitions and developments
- Drafting investment committee memorandums
- Interacting with internal and external parties in new deal sourcing activities
- Completing market research
- Compiling investment packages for capital partners
- Assisting with due diligence and closing activities
- Providing analytical support for sale, refinancing and recapitalization transactions
- Reviewing performance of investments to initial underwriting
- Collaborate cross functionally with broader CA Ventures platform
Your Track Record
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, such as Business, Finance or Real Estate
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Previous medical office sector experience highly desirable
- Strong proficiency and proven prior experience utilizing Argus Enterprise
- Excellent Excel modeling skills including structured debt and complex equity waterfalls
