Spearheads Advocate Aurora Health’s strategic venture investment program. Leads the deal team for any new venture capital and/or healthcare investments made within either the venture investment program or the Advocate Aurora Health Investment Program (“AAHIP”). Identifies and pursues co-development opportunities in line with Advocate Aurora Health’s Transformation 2025 strategy. Serves as Advocate Aurora Health’s day-to-day point of contact on all internally sponsored ventured capital funds. Position is expected to collaborate with other Strategy and Investments team members.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Finance or Master’s Degree in Economics.
- Typically requires 10 years of experience of progressively more responsible investment experience in venture capital and healthcare investing
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification issued by the CFA Institute
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to handle confidential information with respect for the sensitive nature of the data
