Corporate Development Internship @ Molex in Lisle, IL

Molex is looking for a 2020 Summer Analyst for its Corporate Development team. To capitalize on our unique growth potential, Molex’s Corporate Development team provides financial modeling, deal structuring, due diligence, and strategic capabilities in support of acquisitions, ventures, commercial agreements, and organic growth opportunities. Over the last 5 years, the group has completed $3B+ of acquisitions. A Summer Analyst will have the opportunity to support the growth of Molex with responsibilities that include:

  • Analyze and model acquisition opportunities, including the assessment of key profit drivers, risks, and synergies
  • Develop points of view on existing and adjacent market areas
  • Conduct industry and competitive research pertaining to acquisition targets
  • Analyze capital projects, organic growth opportunities, and venture capital deals
  • Develop relevant presentation materials for the management team and Board of Directors

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Position Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or another quantitative degree
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or greater
  • Completion of Bachelor’s degree by or before June 2021

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and accounting
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and economic thinking
