This track record has grown in recent years to encompass SPACs, on the target side (Draft Kings) as well as the sponsor side (the acquisition of Shift by Insurance Acquisition Corp), and is the sponsor of 10X Capital Venture Acquisition, a new SPAC seeking late stage venture / growth equity -backed technology companies disrupting trillion dollar markets, including consumer, healthcare and financial services. We are also investors in multiple outside sponsor SPACS in various technology market segments, including biotech, insuretech, fintech and edtech.
We are seeking a senior-level venture capital or growth equity investor with deep experience and relationships in later stage venture capital (Series C and onwards), to join our technology crossover fund as a General Partner, and potentially our SPAC origination team. We have a very strong late stage pipeline, and multiple opportunities to invest in pre-IPO rounds, PIPEs, and other structures, and we have a uniquely expansive platform that helps us monetize these ventures in the public markets via the alternative IPO channel.
The position is currently remote, however the firm is headquartered at One World Trade Center in NYC and opening an office in the Bay Area later this year or early 2021.
