VC Internship @ Atai in Berlin, Germany

Employment: Internship position 
Desired duration: 3 to 6 months

Responsibilities

  • Assist in evaluating and developing new investment opportunities from our acquisitions pipeline together with a multidisciplinary team of scientific PhDs, MDs, lawyers, and entrepreneurs
  • Produce ad-hoc financial, industry, and competitive analyses for atai and subsidiary venture management
  • Prepare presentations and communicate findings to the leadership team and the whole atai team
  • Support to set up processes and business functions at our subsidiary ventures
  • Directly support the atai team in operational and administrative matters
  • Take-over own projects which add value to atai and our ventures

Qualifications

  • Outstanding Bachelor’s Degree, preferably from a top tier university in Business Administration, Finance, or any MINT/STEM or related field
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree (optional, minimum is a completed Bachelor’s degree) 
  • Proficient command of German and English in a professional context 
  • Prior internship/working student experience in venture capital, high-growth startup, consulting and/or investment banking 
  • Comfortable in fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and limited structures 
  • Highly analytical mindset 
  • Excellent project management and MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
