Then the M Ventures Fellowship might be what you are looking for!
M Ventures is looking for candidates with a strong scientific background, early business experience, and an entrepreneurial spirit to join our six months fellowship program at our headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Over the course of six months you will become engaged in the entire life cycle of startups that form the innovation pipeline of our fund. Using your scientific and/or entrepreneurial background, you will scout new ventures and perform analyses of innovation landscapes. In our deal flow meetings, you will discuss startups and help select those that make it into the deeper due diligence stage. Here you will help our teams in investigating a variety of details of prospective investments (due diligence) and compile your findings in investment proposals. On top, you will gain experience in the support of portfolio companies and help prepare follow-on investments to grow those companies to the next stage in their lifecycles. For all tasks, you will work closely with our associates, principals and our senior management.
You will gain exposure to our broad network of entrepreneurs, portfolio companies, venture capital firms, and larger companies in addition to Merck Group. While we will count on you to enrich our team with your skills, the educational focus of our fellowship program will help you enter the world of venture capital, either as a future entrepreneur or investor.
For the Biotechnology Fellowship, we will accept applications (cover letter and CV) in the month of April for a starting date in September, and in the month of October for a starting date in March the following year.
For the Technology Fellowship, we will accept applications (cover letter and CV) in the month of February for a starting date in July, and in the month of August for a starting date in January the following year.
