Silicon Valley Bank’s internship program is designed for undergraduates to gain real life experiences with a financial services company that helps entrepreneur’s and enterprising companies succeed by offering diversified and complementary financial services to technology and life science companies, venture capital/private equity firms, and premium wineries. Our internships are learning opportunities for students to receive practical professional experience for their future occupation or profession.
The characteristics that the candidate must possess:
- Passion for the startup community & venture capital industry
- Articulate (both in writing and presenting)
- Takes initiative

- High-energy with a sense of humor
- Healthy curiosity and ambition
The responsibilities of the CVC team intern will include:
- Directly reporting to the group’s managing directors
- Industry research and data analysis
- Preparing and building internal and external presentations & thought pieces
- Support for client meetings and events
- Representing the CVC team and SVB brand within the market
Qualifications
- Candidate should have a minimum GPA of 3.5
- Seeking the following Majors: open to all majors
- Seeking Undergrad
- Preferred candidates should have work or academic experience with the following: financial modeling, research, sales, analytics, capital and public markets, understanding of VC economics and corporate innovation trends
