Bonfire Venture Capital is a vertical agnostic seed investor focused on B2B SaaS start-ups. We are geographically focused on Southern California, the Bay Area and Mountain Region. The internship is paid and will be based in Santa Monica, CA.
Qualifications

Experience in product management, strategy consulting, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking in media or technology

Four year degree with a major in in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or Computer Science; Preferred but not required – MBA or other graduate degree from top-tier university.

Outstanding financial modeling, presentation, and written communication skills

Resourceful, entrepreneurial, and willing to challenge oneself to find answers to unsolved problems

Strong track record of managing multiple projects with tight timelines from start to finish

Ability to work quickly and meet tight deadlines, with great attention to detail

Passion and expertise in technology and start-ups

Positive attitude, self-starter, and high emotional intelligence (EQ)

Responsibilities

Screen and source potential investments

Evaluate and perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including meeting with subject matter experts and preparing investment memos

Perform research and analysis of new markets, technologies, and competitive landscape

Engage with the entrepreneurial community and represent Bonfire

Assist in day to day operations at Bonfire and larger internal projects
