Qualcomm Ventures (“QCV”) is the investment arm of Qualcomm, Inc. At QCV we see the future first because we are building it. We are today one of the leading corporate venture funds in the world with 4 billion dollar exits in last 5 years alone (Fitbit, Waze, Invensense, NQ Mobile) and many other big wins in the making (Xiaomi, Magicleap, 3D Robotics among others). We are an evergreen fund (around since 2000) and invest roughly about $200M every year. We are financially driven investors and have 180+ active companies in our portfolio that are managed by a global team of 30+ investment and business development professionals. We offer the same terms as any other top tier VC and have an exceptionally high follow-on rate of over 85%, which reflects the quality of our companies. We invest across the mobile stack in every major market and at every stage (Seed to Series C and beyond). Our checks range anywhere between $500k – $10M+ and we move fast (if not faster) than most traditional VC funds. We work very closely with the companies in our portfolio and do everything we can to leverage Qualcomm’s unique engineering heft and global distribution muscle to help our companies grow faster than their peers.
