Savano Capital Partners is seeking a Business Development Analyst in its Baltimore, MD office. Savano is a late stage venture fund investing in tech and tech-enabled companies. We partner with leading companies by providing liquidity to individual shareholders, such as former executives, angel investors and founders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the investment team in all sourcing activities
- Perform market analyses to identify potential sectors and companies for investment
- Contact executives of target companies and conduct introductory calls to learn about their business
- Build and manage Savano’s database of potential targets and interactions
- Develop working relationships with peers at other venture capital firms
Qualifications:
- At least one year of work experience in investment banking, consulting and/or VC/PE
- Deep understanding of, and passion for, the technology ecosystem
- Passion for identifying promising high‐growth businesses
- Self‐starter, able to initiate projects and work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
