Health2047 Capital Partners (HCAP) is a newly formed (April 2018) venture capital fund focused on investments designed to disrupt the $3 trillion US healthcare industry. The fund plans to deploy capital into promising companies across all stages of development. HCAP has a strategic relationship with the American Medical Association (AMA), that generates a unique level of situational awareness and direct insight into the way care is provided, consumed, and valued. HCAP has also established partnerships with leading companies across the healthcare and technology landscape that provide the fund with a proprietary source of deal flow and liquidity opportunities. HCAP is led by three highly experienced investment professionals with substantial investment experience in healthcare, technology, venture capital and investment banking.
DUTIES: Support partners throughout the due diligence and investment approval process; maintain ongoing relationships with senior management of portfolio companies and provide support and communication to the partnership; create and evaluate complex financial models of capitalization, revenue and cash flow, and exit/return economics; conduct market research and identify market segments for potential investment; prepare analysis and reports for LPs and other activities critical to fund operations.
SKILLS: Proficient in creating complex financial models, preparation of financial statements, valuation analysis, identification and review of market comparables, financial due diligence, preparation of investment memoranda, and financial reporting and compliance.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of financial analyst experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity or consulting within the healthcare or technology sector, with an emphasis on private and emerging growth companies. Must show progressive responsibility and a demonstrated track record of working on successful transactions. Experience with different forms of securities – convertible debt, preferred and common stock transactions – is required. Must be highly analytical with extreme attention to detail.
LOCATION: Menlo Park, CA and willingness to travel as needed.

EDUCATION: BA/BS from a highly selective academic institution with an excellent academic track record. MBA preferred.
