VC Analyst @ Global Founders Capital in Munich, Germany

Global Founders Capital (LinkedInCrunchBaseAngelList) is a $1BN+ international investment firm. The firm focuses on long-term growth strategies, with its main activities in Venture Capital and Private Equity. Headquartered in Munich with additional offices in San Francisco, London, Paris, and Beijing, GFC brings a deep understanding of the global markets and an ability to support the international development of companies. Global Founders Capital is a fund ‘by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs’. We’ve had a history of success and the partners in the fund have built/backed over 10 billion dollar companies such as eBay, Linkedin, Facebook, and many other successful Internet ventures. We invest all over the globe at stages from seed to growth capital. Typical investment size will be around $1m but can go up to $50m.

GFC is now looking to grow the team to evaluate and execute investment opportunities in the consumer and software spaces. The firm is seeking an executive with strong business due diligence, transaction execution skills and investing DNA. 


  • Top university experience in social sciences, engineering or liberal arts
  • Undergraduate/MA/MBA/PhD experiences all appreciated but not required
  • 1-3 years experience in startups, startup media, asset management, early-stage VC, consulting, investment banking, etc
  • Strong network of startups and VCs/angels
  • Technology savvy, with an interest in software and consumer sectors



  • Ability to network and source stellar investment opportunities
    • Structured approach to looking at investment sectors
    • Interest and charisma in engaging founders / CEOs to partner with GFC
    • Strong social skills and a natural tendency to make friends, influence people and create great impressions
    • Relentless ability to maintain a calendar of startup events, attend them and build deep networks
  • Deal-making skills
    • Ability to develop investment thesis – the pros and cons of an investment opportunity from seed to growth stage
    • Ability to assess market opportunities, management teams, business model economics, and more
    • Interest in creating financial / deal models and investment memos
  • Natural strength in communications
    • Create marketing collateral / GFC pitch materials for entrepreneurs and public facing forums
    • Present deals to GFC Partners in a clear and concise fashion
