Influence Dell’s Ventures strategy worldwide through fact-based analysis Identifies growth options and recommends investments (both organic and inorganic) to enhance Dell’s capabilities.
Follows emerging technologies and business models, and anticipates and evaluates the effect of these on Dell’s business. Works closely with senior leadership on a wide range of critical issues, and executes Board-level special projects. Supports senior executive communications for internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain long-term view on industry overall potential and continually assess the attractiveness of markets and companies within these markets
- Qualify opportunities by evaluating companies in these markets for the purpose of investing in or acquiring the company in whole or part to strengthen Dell’s market position to maintain market leadership
- Perform and oversee complex financial analyses with minimal supervision, including corporate balance sheet and recapitalization analyses, transaction structuring analyses and associated sensitive analyses
- Coordinate due-diligence associated with a transaction
- Manage budget, including developing and implementing plans to maintain consistent approach and stay within budgetary guidelines for each project/ deal
- Maintain insight into all products and development initiatives within Dell and its investment partners
- Coordinate all aspects of the investment process lifecycle
- Prepare insightful client presentations and deliverables that guide the decision-making process and provide actionable recommendations
