POSITION SUMMARY:
The Corporate Strategy & Development (CS&D) group supports the long-term strategic goals of TIAA. CS&D is organized into three teams: Corporate Strategy, Strategic Consulting, and Corporate Development. The Corporate Development team is responsible for creating a comprehensive corporate development strategy while quickly assessing, prioritizing, and establishing an approach for pursuing inorganic growth opportunities for the firm, including partnerships, investments, and M&A. CS&D seeks an experienced and accomplished professional to join its Corporate Development team as a Senior Associate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
As a Senior Associate your primary role will be to support the senior members of the team and other members of the Corporate Development team in the development of strategic market analyses, identification of suitable targets for partnership, investment, and / or M&A, attendance at external conferences and events to generate flow of information, and execution of these strategic initiatives. The Senior Associate will play a key role in identifying key industry trends, connecting with business owners, completing due diligence, and negotiating and structuring investments and acquisitions. You will be tasked with working collaboratively with colleagues and internal clients, and should expect to be involved with senior executive presentations.

A minimum of two years of post-MBA professional experience at a leading, investment bank, strategy consulting firm, venture capital firm, or private equity firm is required
Preferred:

Knowledge of financial services, asset management, technology and/or insurance industry preferred
