True Wealth Ventures is a two-partner, seed-stage venture capital firm based in Austin, looking to make our first full-time hire as we ramp up Fund II. There are many work streams with which we require assistance, so the role itself can be adjusted based on the experience and capabilities of the candidate. As part of a small team, this hire will have the unique opportunity to be deeply involved in many, if not most, of the firm’s activities and learn what it’s like to run a small venture firm. There will also be ample opportunities for this hire to represent the firm publicly at events, develop thought leadership, and take on ownership of firm initiatives. That being said, in a small firm, everyone wears lots of hats, and that does also mean our fair share of email overload, iterative data analysis, and other administrivia. Our days are fast-paced and busy, but we ultimately find our jobs to be the most fun and fulfilling we’ve ever had and hope to provide the same for our new team member.
Please note: We’re just starting this process and aren’t looking to hire until late spring at earliest. To set expectations, we will not be reviewing the pool of applications until mid-March and then expect to start reaching out regarding interviews in late March.

About True Wealth Ventures:
True Wealth Ventures is a seed stage venture firm, led by two Austin-based women, Sara Brand and Kerry Rupp. This impact fund’s focus is on women-led companies improving human and/or environmental health. Their investment thesis is that women-led companies perform better financially, as reported in many studies, yet are an untapped market with approximately 2% of venture dollars going to women-led start-ups and approximately 15% to those with a single woman on the founding team in 2021. The firm recently completed investing out of its $20M Fund I and is now investing out of its targeted $30M Fund II, which they are over halfway through raising.
