We are an investment firm investing exclusively at the intersection of healthcare and technology, run by a Stanford University alumna and former faculty member. In our investment approach, we are inspired by a Stanford-born methodology of health technology innovation known as Biodesign.
Continuous learning is a core value for us, and we love working with students and young professionals interested in applying their skills in the venture backed ecosystem. We have experience working with European universities to ensure students get units of credit for their work.
We are actively looking for international interns for 2021 (and beyond) at nina capital. Various roles are available for students of diverse interests and backgrounds. We work with interns in our office in Barcelona when it is possible to do so; completely remotely across different countries and even continents. We offer flexible scheduled, part time or full time, as well as blended onsite and online working. Selected exceptional student interns go on to become Nina Fellows, and continue to learn and engage with our firm after their internship ends.

about nina capital
We are a pan-European, sector-focused firm investing exclusively in health technology companies. We have a vision for the future in which data derived through computing, IoT and sensor technologies deliver meaningful insight for improving health and preventing disease. We believe the creation of new businesses is built on in-depth understanding of the complex network of healthcare system participants, and marrying that with advanced data science and IT-enabled products and services. We look for and support founders determined to effectively and efficiently serve these participants on this continent and internationally. We see our sweet spot at seeding founders and helping them ready for Series A, as well as supporting the early growth of Series A companies into international markets, co-investing alongside other European and international firms. #wearenina
