Milk & Honey Capital partners is a brand new venture studio and Think Tank dedicated to sustainable development and creating an inclusive global economy. Our think tank, The Honeypot, is a 501c3 dedicated to publishing research on global and national sustainability, economics, policy, food systems, real estate, conservation and tech. Our venture studio, Milk & Honey, is dedicated to venture creation and investments in real estate that further global and national sustainability, strengthens inclusive economies, and supports the resilience of the local population.
Summary of Role: This position is for Venture Partners who specializes in finance and fundraising. to be successful in this position you will need an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for our mission, as you will be PAID ON COMMISSION. As you grow into the role, you may be offered a General Partner position, offered carry in the fund, and be put in charge of managing a team of venture partners. This role has a 3 month probation period.
Responsibilities
- Construct a list of investment leads
- Setup pitch meetings
- Edit and create pitch decks, as needed
- Cold Call
- Create Financial Models
- Cohost paid events
- Find event sponsers
- Co-manage partnerships
- Create newsletters
- Create Linkedin Posts
Qualifications
- Background in investment banking, economics, luxury sales, or asset management preferred.
- Team Player
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- High level of integrity
- SOME knowledge about politics on a global and domestic scale
- Culturally and socially conscious
- Punctual
