Ship2B Ventures is an impact venture capital firm that combines financial returns with social and environmental impact. We are looking to hire an Impact Manager – Impact and Systemic Change – to lead the evolution of our impact strategy towards a systemic investing approach , supporting the growth and transformative ambition of our funds.

This is a key role in ensuring that our investments contribute in a consistent, measurable, and transformative way to the major social and environmental challenges we address.

Who we are

Ship2B Ventures is an impact venture capital firm focused on three major challenges: healthy and dignified aging, healthy and dignified childhood, and climate change. We manage over €150 million and support entrepreneurs developing solutions with high potential impact and attractive returns for our investors.

We have over 13 years of experience investing in impact startups through Ship2B Foundation and Ship2B Ventures, with a portfolio that includes companies such as Qida, Sycai, ADmit Therapeutics, Ocean Ecostructures, O11H or Dcycle.

From 2026 onwards, the manager will manage three impact funds and has decided to take a qualitative leap by incorporating systemic lenses into its impact strategy, thus reinforcing its transformative ambition.

Your role

As Impact Manager for Impact and Systemic Change, you will be responsible for leading the asset manager’s systemic impact strategy, ensuring strategic coherence, methodological rigor, and alignment with the transformative vision of the managed funds.

You will work closely with the investment teams and the rest of the impact team to integrate impact across the entire investment cycle.

What will you do?

Impact strategy and design

• Design and evolve the manager’s systemic impact strategy.
• Develop and maintain Theories of Change at the background and systemic levels.
• Incorporate systemic investing frameworks and measurement of contribution to systemic change.

Impact on the investment process

• Lead the ex-ante impact analysis of investment opportunities, in coordination with the investment teams:
• Direct impact
• Systemic impact
• Transformative contribution
• Define and monitor impact KPIs, both direct and systemic.

Monitoring, reporting, and learning

• Lead the monitoring and learning of the impact of the companies invested in.
• Prepare strategic impact reports, both internal and external.
• To ensure the quality, consistency, and usefulness of impact reporting for decision-making.

Cross-cutting work

• Collaborate with investment teams in the design of investment theses and opportunities with high potential for direct and systemic impact.
• Contribute to the generation of knowledge and positioning of Ship2B Ventures in impact investing and systemic investing.

What are we looking for?

Depending on your experience, the role may be adjusted in scope and seniority, but in all cases we are looking for someone with:

• +5 years of experience in impact investing, social innovation, systemic change or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of impact investing frameworks (IMP, Theory of Change, impact measurement and management systems).
• Demonstrable experience in impact measurement and management.
• Strategic and complex systems analysis skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Special consideration will be given to

• Previous experience in impact investment funds, especially in the healthcare and environmental sectors.
• Background en business, finanzas o data analytics.
• Knowledge or experience in systemic investing / systemic change frameworks.
• Creative thinking and intellectual leadership in impact.
