We are partnering with an established venture capital platform seeking to hire a Manager / Principal to join its investment team in Paris.
This is an opportunity to play a key role across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with founders of high-growth businesses across Europe. The team invests across multiple sectors, with particular interest in technology-enabled consumer, digital platforms and emerging growth companies.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess investment opportunities across European venture ecosystems
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, advisors and investors
- Lead commercial, financial and market due diligence processes
- Develop investment theses and present recommendations to internal decision-makers
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation work and transaction execution activities
- Support portfolio companies through strategic initiatives, fundraising processes and business development opportunities
- Monitor portfolio performance and prepare investment updates for internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the fund at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
