At The Lab Ventures we are an investment fund and venture builder that creates and launches digital startups from scratch.
In the last 5 years we have supported 15 companies , and we have just raised a new fund with the aim of creating 30 more startups in the coming years.
Our team combines legal, financial, technological, and product profiles to build scalable and sustainable businesses from ideation to Series A funding.
We are looking for a professional with two years of experience, legal training and tax and accounting knowledge to join the Corporate–Tax / M&A–Venture Capital area .
You will join a dynamic, creative and very practical environment , where every day we work on real projects, structuring investments, stakes and corporate transactions for our startups.
You will gain a comprehensive view of the entire creation and investment cycle , from the design of the governance model to the exit of investors.
The role combines business and tax advice for companies , participation in corporate and investment transactions , and management of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) .
The ideal candidate will have a cross-cutting vision that integrates legal, accounting, and regulatory compliance aspects.
Tasks
⚖️ Main responsibilities
Legal (Core):
- Drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts : SPA, SHA, SAFE/convertibles, vesting agreements, phantom shares.
- Corporate governance management : minutes, powers of attorney, corporate agreements, certifications, corporate books.
- Assistance in M&A transactions and financing rounds.
- Preparation and coordination of legal and tax due diligence .
- Basic CNMV regulatory monitoring (periodic reporting, information compliance).
- Application of data protection (GDPR) in subsidiaries.
Tax / Accounting:
- Practical knowledge of accounting principles.
- Coordination of external audits and support for internal control.
- Review and control of billing, suppliers and tax compliance .
- Preparation and settlement of fees and corporate tax.
- Reading and analysis of financial statements and management reports .
Requirements
🎓 Training and qualification
- Degree in Law , Business Administration or double degree in Law + Business Administration .
- Master’s degree in Business Legal Advice , Taxation or Corporate Law .
- EFPA EIP or ICJCE/audit experience is a plus .
- Professional English (C1 level desirable).

💰 Indicative salary range
- Junior (2 years): €28,000 – €30,000
