Role Summary The Dual-Use Technology Investor will identify and evaluate investment opportunities in innovative startups with applications in both civilian and defence sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of dual-use technologies, defence markets, and the venture capital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing: Identify potential dual-use investment opportunities through networking, research, and analysis of both commercial and defence tech landscapes.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial modelling, market analysis, and assessment of dual-use potential.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with founders, co-investors, and relevant government agencies.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor portfolio companies and assist them in achieving their strategic goals in both civilian and defence markets.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in venture capital or private equity, with a focus on dual-use technologies or defence tech investments.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to evaluate technologies for both commercial and defence applications.
- Excellent networking abilities and a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and defense industry.
- Driven, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with evolving regulatory landscapes.
