Job Responsibilities:

Investment Identification & Evaluation:

• Analyze and identify high-potential investment opportunities in early-stage, growth-stage, and large-scale infrastructure companies.
• Focus on diverse sectors including power plants, renewable energy, space exploration, healthcare, AI, technology, real estate, semiconductors, data centers, and accelerator programs for skills development.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, reviewing financials, business models, market trends, and competitive landscapes to evaluate their growth potential and risk profile.

Investment Decision-Making:

• Participate in investment committee discussions and make informed decisions on whether to invest in groundbreaking startups, emerging technologies, and large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with Fortuna Future’s strategic vision.
• Provide valuable input and strategic advice to fellow committee members, based on your previous experience making investments and in-depth sector knowledge.

Access to Exclusive Deals:

• Gain access to exclusive, high-potential investment opportunities that are often not available through traditional channels.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with investors, entrepreneurs and industry leaders to access unique, high-growth investment opportunities across the sectors mentioned.

Portfolio Management:

• Monitor the performance and strategic direction of portfolio companies, providing ongoing support, mentorship, and guidance to help them scale.
• Actively engage with portfolio companies to drive value creation and facilitate key partnerships, strategic exits, and expansion initiatives.

Networking & Relationship Building:

• Leverage and expand your network within the venture capital, tech, and infrastructure communities to stay at the forefront of innovation and investment trends.
• Attend key industry events, conferences, and seminars, representing Fortuna Future Ventures and developing lasting relationships with key players in the entrepreneurial and investment ecosystems.

Supporting Innovation & Groundbreaking Initiatives:

• Take an active role in helping entrepreneurs develop groundbreaking initiatives in sectors like renewable energy, space exploration, and AI.
• Champion cutting-edge technologies and large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring investments are aligned with global trends in sustainability and technological advancement.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

• Ensure all investments comply with the regulatory requirements and legal standards for accredited investors.
• Maintain accurate and transparent records of all investment activities and provide timely reports to stakeholders and regulators as needed.

Strategic Partnership & Exit Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with the investment team to develop and execute exit strategies for portfolio companies, focusing on maximizing returns and long-term value.
• Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and IPO opportunities, providing strategic insights to optimize exit outcomes and investor returns.

Fund Formation & Investment:

• We are currently seeking investors to join and invest in our first fund.
• Assist with fund formation, including strategic input, structuring, and investor relations, as we establish a solid foundation for growth and future investments.

Key Qualifications:

• Accredited investor status as per regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience making investments in early-stage, growth-stage, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of sectors including power plants, renewable energy, space exploration, healthcare, AI, technology, real estate, semiconductors, data centers, and business development accelerator programs.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and financial modeling skills.
• A proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments across diverse industries.
• Strong relationships within the venture capital and startup ecosystems, with the ability to identify exclusive and high-potential opportunities.
