VC Investor @ East Sunshine Ventures in Remote

Hiring an experienced early fin-tech/SaaS investor and community builder as a venture partner for a growing fin-tech vc fund.

This role is not a role with monthly cash salary at the beginning. It will be paid on a deal by deal basis in cash or carries from the fund at the beginning. However, there is a clear/quick path to be promoted to a partner or GP for the fund (with cash payment and carries) for the right candidate down the road.

Responsibilities:

1) Building communities/attending industry events and sourcing/evaluating early stage deals (US focused) within the Fin-tech/SaaS/AI vertical.

2) Supporting the founder/GP for daily operations (coordinating/participating in meetings with startups , updating pitch materials or newsletters to LPs etc.)

3) Organizing internal networking events with founders and other fin-tech investors

4) Communicating with portfolio companies if needed

5) Making introductions of new LPs who may be good fits for the fund (optional but a faster track to become a partner or GP for the fund)

6) Managing relationships/sharing updates with different counter-parties including large VC funds, institutions, HUNW individuals (co investors or LPs of the fund), founders and accelerators globally

7) Other tasks to support the founder/GP as needed.

Ideal candidate profile:

1) Entrepreneur with successful track records as a founder in AI, fin-tech or enterprise SaaS field

2) Broad network with founders and other investors within the fin-tech ecosystem

3) 2-3 years+ of working experience in other fin-tech/SaaS or AI funds or similar individual investment track records in fin-tech, SaaS or AI.

4) Based in Silicon Valley (ideal) or NYC for over 5 years

5) Advanced degree in Math/CS or similar fields from well known schools or/and multiple years of experience as a technical cofounder (ideal to have)
