Audacious Ventures is an early stage venture firm where we have a simple mandate – to invest in the most ambitious founders in the world, and help them achieve their most audacious goals.
Our foundational belief is that the most important ingredient of startup success is a high density of A+ people at the center of the company. Accordingly, we focus on two jobs:

đź’Ą Opportunity
Audacious is expanding the investment team. This hire will be primarily responsible for helping us with deal sourcing.
Ultimately, we’re in the business of finding outlier founders. Accordingly, sourcing is the lifeblood of what we do at Audacious. You will be working at the heart of this effort at the firm.
What you will do:
- Identify outlier founders and innovative ideas in B2B software for the firm to invest in.
- You will be given significant autonomy and responsibilities on deal sourcing efforts. Your ability to distinguish which networks to spend time with will be crucial. We will mentor and guide you here.
- Develop an exceptional network with force of nature founders, operators, and angels.
- Figure out systematic and repeatable strategies to improve deal sourcing at a firm level.
Who you are:
- 1-4 years of experience at a tech startup or venture fund.
- Bring an existing and actionable network. Whether it is from full time roles and/or extracurricular activities/initiatives.
- Have demonstrated the ability to build a network of potential seed stage founders.
- Bias towards action is your default state.
- Preferably technical, whether through work, school, and/or side projects.

Muzzammil “MZ” Zaveri
Partner
MZ previously founded Proxino, a Y Combinator (S11) backed startup in the JavaScript error detection space. Prior to Audacious he was at Kleiner Perkins and Gradient Ventures as a Partner.
Nakul Mandan
Founder and Partner
Nakul was previously a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, where he led the firm’s SaaS investing practice. Prior to Lightspeed, Nakul spent 5 years at Battery Ventures. Nakul immigrated from India in Sept-2009, and is a graduate of IIT-Kanpur.
Max Zang
Investor
Max was previously an investor at OpenView and Rough Draft Ventures (General Catalyst). Prior to VC, he gained operating experience on the Strategy and Ops team at Snyk.
William Genesen
Investor
Will was previously building revenue-generating products on the growth team at Ramp, then led growth at OneSchema. As a junior tennis player he was the U18 national champion, captained Stanford’s varsity team, and went on to compete professionally.
