VC Internship @ Winterberg Group AG in Munich, Germany

Do you want to gain practical experience in private equity and value creation? Do you want to be part of a team that drives growth in the MedTech sector? Winterberg is looking for a motivated Portfolio Value Creation intern / working student to support our operational and strategic initiatives in our MedTech Buy & Build platform in Switzerland .

This 6-month internship will not only provide you with valuable insights into the private equity field, but also the opportunity to qualify for a potential full-time position after completing your master’s degree.

Our MedTech Buy & Build platform in Switzerland consolidates leading MedTech distributors and enables them to succeed in a highly competitive market.

Your tasks

As a Portfolio Value Creation intern / working student you will:

• Analyze portfolio performance : Work with our portfolio companies to collect, compile and analyze key performance data.
• Support operational projects : Support the Chief of Staff in process optimization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Conduct market research : Analyze trends and competitive landscapes in the MedTech sector.
• Creating value : Supporting strategic projects to identify and implement operational synergies.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with senior management, portfolio company executives and external advisors.

your profile

• Academic Background : Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Analytical skills : Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication : Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English (French an advantage).
• Technical skills : Confident use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proactive Attitude : Self-motivated, team-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Interest in private equity and healthcare : Knowledge or interest in the MedTech industry and buy-and-build strategies is an advantage.
