VC Internship @ Sopra Steria in Paris, France

Sopra Steria Ventures forges partnerships, invests in early-stage European/U.S. tech startups, and offers a dedicated program to support their growth. The current portfolio includes about +15 investments.

We are seeking a VC Analyst & Program Manager Intern starting in December 2024/January 2025 for a duration of 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in pre-qualifying deal flow in line with the investment thesis
• Contribute to deliverables (mapping startups, investment memos, scorecards)
• Monitor the Sopra Steria Ventures ecosystem (VCs, CVCs, incubators/accelerators, associations, startups)
• Improve (and automate) internal processes (deal flow management, KPI collection for activity monitoring, presentation reports)
• Support the VC Operations Manager in enhancing the CVC process
• Help startups and Sopra Steria Group’s business units create business and marketing synergies through project management, facilitation, and by identifying internal/external expertise (startup program management)
• Organize and/or support event operations with the ecosystem (startups, associations, funds, business units)

• Improve (and automate) internal processes (dealflow management, collection of KPIs for activity monitoring, reporting presentation)
• Provide support to the VC Operation Manager in improving the CVC process 
• Helping startups and businesses to create business and marketing synergies through project management, animation and finding expertise internally/externally (startup program management)
• Organize and/or support event operations with the ecosystem (startups, associations, funds, professions)

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Master 2) in innovation, entrepreneurship, or project management. Initial experience in startups, launch programs, or incubators.

Passionate about innovation and the startup world, with good knowledge of digital players and a strong interest in new technologies and digital services. Strong analytical, synthesis, and reporting skills. Fluent in French & English, both spoken and written

Currently in  Master 2 in innovation/entrepreneurship/project management , you have initial experience in start-ups/start-up programs/programs/incubator. 

Passionate about innovation and the world of start-ups, you have a good knowledge of digital players and a strong interest in new technologies and digital services.

You have a strong capacity for analysis, synthesis and restitution. You are able  to communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
