Radiate Ventures (“Radiate”) is a globally focused venture capital / growth equity fund deploying a “Barbell” (Early and Growth stage) investment strategy headquartered in Miami, FL. We invest in global disruptive technologies with the theme of antifragility. Our core investment mandate focuses on investments in three sectors of innovation surrounding the concepts of geopolitical arbitrage & global diversity – Deeptech, Fintech and Vertical SaaS. The Role:
We are looking for an incoming or current MBA student for an MBA Associate Internship that is highly passionate about the VC space. Interns will interact directly with senior team members and will learn how the industry works through firsthand experience. At the most basic level, your role will cover all areas of the firm, spanning: marketing, sourcing, due diligence, investment analysis and investor reporting. Commitment of approximately 25 hours a week. Top performers may have the opportunity to join the firm full time at a later date.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or incoming MBA student
- Track record of excellent academic performance
- Prior experience in Venture, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting
- A self-starter – disciplined, responsible, and self-motivated
- Highly team oriented
- Outstanding intellectual aptitude
- Genuine passion for the venture and startup world
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and review of investment opportunities
- Attend meetings and calls with exceptional startup founders
- Conduct market/industry, trend and competitive research
- Due diligence of potential investments
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials
- Assist with LP investor reporting materials
- Assist with other firm-related activities as needed
