We are neoteq ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund based in Cologne. We help great founding teams build tech companies that change industries. We invest throughout Germany and focus our investment activities in the Rhineland. If you enjoy working with start-ups, have a good dose of curiosity and enjoy helping start-ups grow in a small team, then get in touch with us!

your tasks

You are part of our investment team and gain valuable insights into our work. You will support us primarily in the following areas:

• Active sourcing of new investment opportunities
• Screening of startups and initial evaluation of business models, qualitative and quantitative analyses of start-ups
• Maintenance and further development of our investment database
• Active collaboration with the investment team, participation in pitches, discussions and negotiations
• Supporting the investment team in conducting due diligence processes
• Project-related support with market analysis, trend reports or similar evaluations of our deal flow

What you bring with you

• You are currently studying
• First experience through internships in the start-up environment (VC funds, incubator, accelerator, innovation area, start-up)
• Ideally, a technical degree and thus a technical understanding and a keen feel for technical products and innovations.
• Enthusiasm and enjoyment of working in a dynamic and creative environment
• Solid knowledge of common software solutions (MS Office, CRM, etc.)
• Humor & a lot of patience (both of which are often needed in start-ups)
