VC Internship @ N Capital in Rotterdam, Netherlands

Join an enterprising family office from Rotterdam. We are in a transformation phase from family office to investment office, where you can be involved in investments in various asset classes, fundraising and building various processes. You will have the opportunity to play an important role in a growing team with a clear investment approach.

The roll

During our 4 to 6 month internship you will dive deep into the world of investing. You will gain insight into various asset classes such as private equity, credit, cash & equivalents, litigation financing, direct investments and public equities. You will work closely with management and have a direct influence on the company results.

What are you going to do?

• Investments:  Review and qualify investment proposals across asset classes, participate in investment and expert discussions, and assist in the preparation of investment memoranda.
• Thesis development:  Conduct market research and contribute to the development of investor and investment theses.
• Financial Analysis:  Create reports and build financial models.
• Fundraising:  Support the ongoing capital raising process.
• Entrepreneurship:  Help set up and improve internal processes and our bond program.
• Sourcing:  Identify new investment opportunities.

Who are you?

• Passion for investing:  You have a passion for investing and know how to get things done.
• Mindset:  You have a practical attitude, take responsibility, are curious about new markets, industries and deal structures.
• Self-starter:  You are an autodidact, motivated to explore new areas independently through podcasts, books, online courses or your own initiative.
• Academic background:  You have strong academic records, preferably pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Taxation or Business Administration.
• Work experience:  Experience in corporate finance, (investment) banking, private equity, venture capital, consultancy or well-financed start-ups is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Skills:  You have project management, communication, writing and Excel skills. Experience with statistics, data science or Python is a plus.
• Language proficiency:  You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Location:  You live in the Netherlands.
