bout Krealo: At Krealo, as Credicorp’s Corporate Venture Capital arm, we lead the transformation of financial services in the Andean region through strategic investments in innovative startups. Our purpose is to be a catalyst for change, driving development and innovation at Credicorp and throughout the Latin American venture capital ecosystem.

The Role

As an Investment Intern, you will be involved in all stages of the investment process, from market analysis and opportunity identification, to transaction structuring and monitoring of companies in Krealo’s portfolio.

Your challenges

You will contribute to the execution of key processes in the investment team, from identifying new opportunities to supporting our portfolio. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate curiosity, analytical skills, and the ability to quickly learn about the dynamics of the startup ecosystem.

To do this, you will focus on:

• Contribute to market research and mapping of key industry trends.
• Participate in events, demodays and webinars to expand our network in the startup ecosystem.
• Provide support in target analysis and due diligence processes that enable investment decisions to be made.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for Krealo’s investment committee.
• Supporting our portfolio companies, ensuring they have the resources and connections necessary to grow.
• Contribute to the preparation of Krealo reports for Credicorp.
• Build strong relationships with the Krealo team and other stakeholders to help generate learning spaces and propose possible improvements to the processes being developed.

You will develop a solid understanding of the startup ecosystem for your rapid growth in the Investments team.

To do this, you will focus on:

• Constantly analyze and research the various industries in which Krealo can invest, allowing you to develop a good knowledge base that anticipates the requirements of Krealo and its portfolio.
• Create and update internal reports for the Investment team, generated from financial information and compliance with the KPIs of the portfolio companies.
• Demonstrate interest and proactivity in learning how to use the tools that the Investment team uses on a daily basis.

What we are looking for from you

• You are very willing to learn new knowledge and share it with the Krealo and Portfolio teams.
• You are a person who is motivated to work proactively and autonomously, which allows you to anticipate challenges.
• You have a founder mentality and critical thinking to question and propose new challenging and innovative methodologies that facilitate the flow of processes carried out in the Investment team.
• You are passionate about the world of startups and investments.
• You have analytical skills to understand the financial information and KPIs of the portfolio companies.
• You have experience in analysis, execution and projection of financial models.
• You have knowledge in finance and/or experience in agile financial industries (Fintech, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking).
• In 2025 you will be completing your studies in Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Administration or other related careers.
• Advanced level in the use of Excel.
• Advanced level of English (conversational and written).
