Inflect Capital is an early stage healthcare fund focused on investing in exceptional founders building generational companies that can solve the biggest challenges in health and wellness. Through our deep industry expertise and vast clinician network, we aim to be founders’ earliest design partner, fastest go-to-market accelerant, and most knowledgeable healthcare advisor on the cap table.

The Opportunity:

Our team has ambitious goals of changing the healthcare and venture landscape to ultimately transform lives. We are seeking 2 Venture Fellows to assist with key aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support. In addition, Fellows will conduct in-depth market research and deliver actionable insights through presentations and reports.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing: Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across health, wellness, and biotech infrastructure.
• Due Diligence: Conduct rigorous diligence on prospective and follow-on investments, evaluating financials, key metrics, and growth opportunities.
• Market Research: Explore targeted sectors, develop strategic insights, and create detailed market maps to inform investment strategy.
• Ecosystem Engagement: Build authentic relationships with entrepreneurs and the broader healthcare ecosystem to source deals, identify trends, and generate new opportunities.
• Portfolio Support: Collaborate with our portfolio companies on various ad hoc projects related to sales, go-to-market strategy, product development, fundraising, etc.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

• Currently pursuing (or recently graduated with) an MBA, MD, MPH, or PhD with a strong interest in healthcare and technology
• Can devote 10-20 hours per week
• 2-6 years of experience in startups, VC/PE, investment banking, consulting, health system, health plan, etc.
• A demonstrated passion for startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies.
• Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
