Heal Venture Lab is a Singapore based venture builder focused on bringing capital and medical innovation to Asia Pacific with social impact goals in mind. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting a growing venture capital firm with due diligence, business development and project management.

Interns will be expected to work with the company and learn about investment process as well as deal sourcing, due diligence and financial analysis.

Expected time commitment – 1-2 days a week, flexible, for up to 3 months as requested

Responsibilities

1) Investment research

• Research new business leads, investor profiles and investor contacts per specific opportunity
• Regularly screen health tech companies globally and notable investment transactions as specified by the management.
• Maintaining and regularly updating Industry specific target investor and buyer lists
• Maintaining and regularly updating company deal sheets based on industries and types of mandates
• Support the team on writing investment memos, teasers, presentations as well as creating financial models
• Develop financial models for investment and consulting projects based on defining solid assumptions

2) Communication and Marketing

• Support Company with any deliverables, including pitch deck, desktop research. Submit at reasonable time to prevent bottleneck
• Support admin work, including submission of online applications, scheduling events on calendar, drafting promotional material
• Key writer for creating social media content for Company under guidance from a supervisor
• Developing marketing collateral, tear sheets and capabilities book for trade shows and events
• Developing a schedule of trade shows, conferences and events based on annual budget and priorities
• Coordinating outreach and meetings with prospective clients, buyers and investors for senior executives based on pre-determined travel schedules as well as follow up campaigns.
• Develop e-mail marketing campaigns for clients and other involved stakeholders
• Coordinating meetings and office events for senior members of Company

3) Program Management

• Participate in Company calls/meetings permissible for Research Analyst’s time zone. Research Analyst’s role will be to keep track of discussion, record key items and update Company project management tracker as needed
• Participate in all due diligence, investment or LP calls and summarize minutes.
• Create proposals and pitch books for Company’s business development efforts

Qualifications

BA/BS holders or candidates
