Futuraiser
Venture Capital Fellowship Programme – Futuraiser
2023 Venture Capital Fellowship in New York (USA), London (UK), or remote.
Start Date: Flexible
Futuraiser is a London-based venture capital and advisory firm focusing on funding disruptive technology at scale in electric vehicles, EV batteries, EV charging systems, energy and grid management, autonomous driving systems, and industrial robotics.
The firm was founded by Jacek Mikus, a serial entrepreneur, advisor, and notable leader in zero-emission mobility and sustainable environmental projects. While still at the University of Economics in Cracow, he began his professional career in 1998 in the software industry at Comarch, a global IT business solution provider. He spent nearly two decades expanding the company across the EU and Asia, living in China, Russia, Germany, Canada, and France. In 2016 he moved to London to help then startup Arrival Automotive (NASDAQ: ARVL), an electric vans and busses manufacturer. In part due to Jacek’s contribution, Arrival was listed in 2021 with a record $12B valuation (the highest tech IPO in UK history).
Our strategic value transcends the capital we provide: partnership and advisory are at the core of what makes our approach unique. Through our deep relationships with OEMs, R&D centers, Tier1s, and universities in the US, UK, Austria, Germany, Israel, China, and South Korea, we make strategic introductions to further project development. Our firm works with the world’s leading experts in automotive, software, AI, robotics, and finance. These individuals share their expertise with our projects to help secure capital and accelerate the company’s growth. Notably, in January 2023, our firm announced a significant deal between Caterpillar and Lithos Energy to further the development of shock-resistant and high-power EV Battery Systems.
We are looking for driven and entrepreneurial individuals to join us during the academic semester. Our internship program will provide a unique learning experience to work directly with the firm’s leadership. The duration of this program is 8-12 weeks and is for academic credit.
