VC Internship @ DayDream Ventures in Remote

We are looking for a great intern to help us.

Our interns will be able to source deals, sit in on calls with founders, do market research and investment memos, create decks, and assist with the operations side of a fund. Interns are encouraged to explore their favorite market niche to help advance their skills in the venture capital industry.

This is a role that allows interns to see both sides of venture capital from the operations/platform side to the investment side.

They will be mentored by a great fund manager and super connector in SF who can help them break into whatever they want to do next.

You are

• Self-starter.We know that this is mentioned often, but we truly mean it here. We want our interns to be as self starter as they come. We’re excited about finding someone who is able to thrive in uncertain and changing conditions and go above and beyond.
• Excited about VC. We believe that Daydream Ventures will be leading the charge in a new approach to venture: inclusive, friendly, and down-to-earth. We’d love someone who has demonstrated interest in venture and is also keen to change the parts that can be improved.
• Natural communicator. This is a people business and we’d have you expanding your network from Day 1! You’d be an active participant in our dealflow pipeline from end-end, and will be involved in how we manage relationships in the venture ecosystem!

Some experience and skills that would be nice to have, note that we don’t expect a candidate to have any and definitely not all of these!

• Prior experience in venture capital of any capacity (analyst, scout, university network, etc)
• Plus if technical
• Great writing skills
• Interested in Vertical Saas, Fintech & AI

We envision that this role would be part-time (20 hours / week ) and compensated with a small stipend. We’d be happy to have a conversation about any of the above points for the right candidate! Remote in North American (ET / PT) timezones.
