VC Internship @ Cusp Capital in Essen, Germany

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

• You build up a holistic understanding of different industries based on our 4 theses.
• You work directly with the investment team to source and evaluate new startups.
• You will capture and process new national as well as Europe-wide investment opportunities, companies and contacts.
• You will support the investment team on various research projects.
• You draft written communication and assist in administrative functions.
• You grow and foster your network in the European start-up and VC ecosystem.

WHAT WE EXPECT…

• You are a matriculated student at a university – non-business fields of study welcome.
• You have an affinity for entrepreneurship, early-stage start-ups and the venture capital ecosystem as well as a passion for newest technology (SaaS models).
• Your analytical skills enable you to develop and defend opinions – in spoken and written communication.
• You are curious, open to learn, and possess research enthusiasm for future trends, business models & technologies.
• You work independently while being a team player at heart, and you are self-driven and very organized.
• You speak and write in German and English fluently (other languages are a plus).
• Time requirement/availability:
• At least 2 semesters in total (part-time, min. 10hr/week)
• 2-4 weeks internship before the working student job
• Work location: we believe in training-on-the-job, therefore the work location is our headquarters in Essen. We also allow to work from home office/remote, but the main workplace will be the office.
