Thanks for your interest in applying Investment Fellowship position for H7 BioCapital. This is an unpaid fellowship position for six months, and we prefer our fellows to work around 10 hours per week. We are looking for motivated, capable and driven interns to join our team and together make a success.
The next H7 Venture Fellowship program commences on December, but we engage in ongoing recruitment and interviews. You are welcome to apply at any time for consideration in the next cohort, starting on December 1st.
Responsibilities
- Source new deals in healthcare sectors (life science, biotech, medical device and medtech).
- Conduct due diligence on healthcare projects, including both scientific and non-scientific (analyzing intellectual property, financial status, market opportunities, etc.).
- Participate in term sheet negotiation and the follow up duties.
- Prepare recommendations to Investment Committee for approval.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D or M.D. degree in healthcare related majors is REQUIRED.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industries is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in venture capital, management consulting, or business development is preferred.
- Outstanding business writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to assess the quality and reliability of published data, with a hunger for experimental details, to accomplish deep primary research, analyze and draw conclusions.
- Proven ability to work well with team, self-motivated, showing initiative, and a willingness to work hard.
