Your Mission
As Commercial Director, you will be the first person on site to build and lead our Swedish sales operations in Stockholm. This is a hands-on role where you are responsible for building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and closing deals on time. You have the ability to work with sales both strategically and operationally, and you master a consultative sales process.

Today, CVX has over 600 partners who invest and contribute to companies where they can make a real difference. CVX now consists of 20 ambitious individuals in Copenhagen, London, Oslo – and soon also in Stockholm.
Your duties
- Develop and implement your sales strategy
- Drive sales and continuously meet and exceed revenue targets
- Recruit, develop and lead a world-class sales team when your sales goals are achieved
- Participate in budget work and set goals for the organization
- Follow up on KPIs and develop action plans to improve results
- Drive the investment process from exploration to investment
- Represent CVX at events, conferences and gatherings
- Collaborate closely with others in the organization
- Report directly to the CEO.
What we expect from you
- At least 5 years of experience in business development and/or sales in fast-growing startups
- Natural ability to sell and success in reaching and exceeding revenue targets
- High work ethic and sense of urgency
- Exceptional drive and desire to be the best at what you do
- Proactivity and ability to take ownership for everything you do
- Strong ability to create collaboration and trust between people, as well as gain the trust of business leaders
- Strong interest in venture capital and startups
- Strong communication skills at management and board level
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Humility and a passion for building and developing new businesses
- Fluent Swedish and English
- A big plus if you have a network within the Swedish startup ecosystem.
